Dalglish hopeful of Reds improvement

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish believes the club have the "determination and quality" to get through their recent poor form.

Despite winning the Carling Cup and being in the FA Cup semi-finals, Sunday's 2-0 defeat by Newcastle was their sixth in seven Premier League games, leaving them eighth in the table.

But Dalglish says while the players are disappointed with recent performances, everyone connected with the club "needs to stick together" if they are to improve.
