Di Matteo 'respects' handshake decision

Chelsea interim boss Roberto di Matteo says he "respects" the Premier League's decision to cancel the pre-match handshakes at Sunday's game with QPR because of the legal case involving John Terry and Anton Ferdinand.

The Blues skipper is accused of racially abusing the QPR defender during a match at Loftus Road in October. Terry denies the accusation and the court case will start on 9 July.

Di Matteo insists the fixture will not be overshadowed by the incident and that the "football game is still the most important aspect" for his side on Sunday.
