Manchester City, having beat neighbours Manchester United, have the momentum in the race for the Premier League title. Roberto Mancini's men go to Newcastle on Sunday needing a win to inch ever closer to their first league championship in 44 years.
It won't be easy for City, though, because the Magpies are chasing an end of season prize of their own - a place in the Champions League.
Newcastle have been boosted by the form of Papiss Cisse whose two sublime goals saw off Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
Manchester United, meanwhile, must hope their local rivals slip up as they prepare to entertain Swansea in Sunday's later game.
