Richard Scudamore says club will have to adjust finances

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore believes top clubs are "going to have to adjust" in the wake of new financial fair play regulations, but does not foresee "any negative consequences" for England's top flight.

The new Uefa regulations take effect in 2013 and permit losses of up to 45m euros (£37.5m) over a two-year period, with the aim of clubs eventually breaking even.

Scudamore states that Manchester City's expansive spending does not concern him, and believes investment from the Abu Dhabi United Group would be "welcomed in any other industry" and praising the club's off-field development.
