John Aldridge says Liverpool need stability

Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge says the Anfield club need to choose a long term option to replace Kenny Dalglish who was sacked as manager on Wednesday.

Aldridge says the players have let Dalglish down and it was the final league position that lead to the owners making the "strong" decision to move him on.

The 53-year-old says having had four managers in the last two years is not the "Liverpool way".
