Dougie Freedman 'could not turn Bolton opportunity down'

Dougie Freedman tells BBC Radio Manchester that he owed it to himself and his family to take the opportunity and become the new manager of Bolton Wanderers.

Freedman left high-flying Crystal Palace to take charge at the Reebok Stadium.

He adds that Palace have rejected approaches from Bolton for Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming, who formed Freedman's backroom team at Selhurst Park.
