Hereford manager Martin Foyle tells BBC Hereford & Worcester that he is proud of his players after they beat Shrewsbury.
"It was an important win for us as a crowd, with a good crowd and a good atmosphere," he says.
"I thought we played some good stuff and put them on the back foot. I thought Ryan Bowman was exceptional up front and led the line well for a 20-year-old.
"Telling the players before the Southport game that they weren't going to get paid, there's been a lot of doom and gloom.
"But the players' attitudes have been absolutely fantastic."
