Lambert 'gutted' after United's remarkable comeback

Paul Lambert is "gutted" after watching his side lose a two-goal lead to Manchester United, but states he is "proud" of his young side's performance.

The Aston Villa manager praises their effort as "incredible", saying they "couldn't do any more" after taking control of the game thanks to a double strike from Austrian striker Andreas Weimann before Javier Hernadez inspired United's comeback.

Villa had looked set for a first home win over United in 17 years before Hernandez struck either side of a Ron Vlaar own goal.
