Manager Andre Villas-Boas says the Europa League remains a priority for Tottenham as his side aim to reach the knockout stages by avoiding defeat at home to Panathinaikos on Thursday.
Some of Tottenham's best results in the Premier League have come following midweek games in Europe, which Villas-Boas says is "pleasant to see".
Uefa's proposal to scrap the competition in favour of making the Champions League bigger does not sit well with the Spurs manager. "It would be an unpopular decision," he said. "Certainly for me it would be a disappointment."
