Bristol Rovers: New boss John Ward has 'affinity' for club
New Bristol Rovers manager John Ward tells BBC Radio Bristol that his previous connection with the club meant he felt he had to turn down the director of football job at Plymouth to move back to the Memorial Stadium.
Ward has rejoined the club he previously managed between 1993-96 on an initial contract until the end of the season and replaces Mark McGhee who was sacked after the 4-1 loss at York.
