Manchester City 1-0 Reading: Roberto Mancini wants early goals

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says his side need to start scoring goals earlier in matches, after leaving it until the 92nd minute to break the deadlock against Reading.

Gareth Barry headed home David Silva's cross to earn City a 1-0 win, but the goal proved controversial, with Reading boss Brian McDermott claiming Barry fouled Nicky Shorey.

Mancini praises Reading's staunch defensive display, but says his side deserved the victory.
