Stoke 3-3 Southampton: Nigel Adkins 'delighted' despite draw

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins says he is "delighted" with a point despite his side letting a two-goal lead slip as they draw 3-3 away at Stoke.

Goals from Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez, plus an own goal from Andy Wilkinson, gave the Saints a 3-1 lead at the interval - but a last-minute equaliser from Stoke's Cameron Jerome keeps Southampton in the Premier League relegation zone.

Adkins believes his side were "outstanding", and praises their "great character" in earning the point.
