Premier League: Wigan v Manchester United preview

Manager Roberto Martinez says Wigan will be inspired by last season's 1-0 home win over Manchester United when the sides meet at the DW Stadium on New Year's Day.

The Spaniard believes the April victory - which helped them toward a remarkable Premier League survival - can be repeated if the Latics forget their opponents and play a "perfect" game.

Martinez says 2012 was a "sensational" year for the Lancashire club and thinks his side now have the "determination" and "unity" to surpass those achievements over the next 12 months.
