Stoke boss Tony Pulis admits his side found it hard to compete with the quality of Manchester City after losing 3-0 at Eithad Stadium.

Goals from Pablo Zabaleta, Edin Dzeko, and a Sergio Aguero penalty defeated the Potters, and kept Premier League champions City seven points behind neighbours Manchester United in the title race.

Pulis says "about £220m" is the difference between the two teams, with City's spending power allowing them to recruit players of a calibre Stoke cannot match.
