Joe Cole: It's great to be back where I started

Joe Cole says it is "great to be back where I started" after completing his move from Liverpool to West Ham United.

The 31-year-old, who made 150 appearances for the Hammers between 1999 and 2003, joins in time for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Manchester United at Upton Park and says it's "surreal" to be back at the training pitches where he learnt his trade.

The former England midfielder also admits the decision not join QPR and former manager Harry Redknapp was a difficult one.
