Wolves boss Dean Saunders sends warning to players

Dean Sanders is relishing his new challenge as Wolves manager and warns his players they will have to work hard if they are to return to the Premier League.

The former Wales striker, 48, succeeds Stale Solbakken, who was sacked on Saturday, following the FA Cup exit at non-league Luton, having spent just half a season in charge.

Saunders, who compares Wolves' relegation from the top flight to a "hangover you cannot shrug off," becomes the fourth boss at Molineux in under a year after Mick McCarthy's sacking, then the brief tenure of Terry Connor.
