Man City's Pellegrini wants attacking style

New Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini promises to play a more attacking style of football than his predecessors.

The former Malaga boss replaces Roberto Mancini, whose side failed to retain their Premier League title last season and were knocked out at the group stage of the Champions League.

Pellegrini says he will not prioritise European competition over success domestically, but vowed to improve on City's poor record in the competition.
