FA's Greg Dyke and BBC's Tony Hall welcome FA Cup deal

FA chairman Greg Dyke and BBC director general Tony Hall welcome the return of the FA Cup to the BBC, after the broadcaster secured a four-year shared rights deal with BT Sport.

Both broadcasters will show the FA Cup from the start of the 2014-15 season, with the BBC streaming live games across online, connected TV, mobile and tablet devices.

Dyke says the FA Cup will get the audience it deserves by being on a free-to-view channel, while Hall says the BBC will offer "unrivalled" multi-platform coverage.
