Welsh athlete reflects on flame lighting ceremony

A year ago Welsh athlete Aidan Reynolds was part of the answer to the question that had been puzzling people for months - who was going to light the Olympic cauldron at London 2012.

The 19-year-old javelin thrower was one of seven young athletes chosen by Olympic greats to take the flame on its final lap of the stadium before performing the lighting ceremony.

A year on, Wales Today's Claire Summers caught up with Aidan - now a student at Oxford University - and his family to reflect on the event, its legacy and his plans to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow next year.
