Peter Taylor: Gillingham manager decision needed
Gillingham interim manager Peter Taylor tells BBC Radio Kent that it will be "healthier" for the club to appoint a permanent manager soon.
The 60-year-old, who has been in charge at Priestfield since 14 October, says chairman Paul Scally will make a final decision on a new boss ahead of the trip to Sheffield United on 16 November.
Meanwhile, Taylor says midfielder Charlie Allen has joined Tamworth on loan for footballing reasons.
Taylor believes it has been "very difficult" for the 21-year-old to be the son of Gillingham's ex-manager Martin, who Taylor replaced, but says his attitude has been "first-class" despite not featuring.
