Cliftonville top after win at Ballymena

Champions Cliftonville are back at the top of the Irish Premiership thanks to a 3-1 win away to Ballymena United.

Glenn Ferguson, the Ballymena manager, was angry about the referee's decision to send-off defender Johnny Taylor and award the penalty from which Joe Gormley put Cliftonville into a 2-1 lead.

Martin Donnelly got the third for Tommy Breslins's men and they are now a point ahead of Linfield who have one game in hand.
