Southampton 2-2 Stoke: Potters' character pleases Hughes

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes says his side showed 'great character' to twice come from behind in their 2-2 draw with Southampton at St Mary's.

The Saints went ahead early on through Rickie Lambert before Peter Odemwingie equalised for Stoke. A Steven Davis' cross-shot put Southampton back in the lead, but Peter Crouch headed home a few minutes before half-time.

Southampton and Stoke have now met four times in the Premier League and all four contests have ended in draws.
