Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen says the 3-2 defeat by Liverpool is "very hard to take" after they conceded an injury-time penalty.
He claimed the Cottagers' performance "deserved a point" after they twice took the lead through a Kolo Toure own goal and Kieran Richardson effort.
But equalisers from Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho paved the way for Steven Gerrard to grab a late winner from the spot.
Fulham remain bottom of the Premier League table and have now conceded 58 goals in 26 matches.
