Riga optimistic on Charlton survival

New Charlton Athletic head coach Jose Riga tells BBC London 94.9 he is optimistic about their chances of escaping relegation from the Championship.

The 56-year-old, who was appointed on Tuesday after manager Chris Powell was sacked, took charge of the Addicks for the first time for their 0-0 draw with Huddersfield.

Charlton remain bottom of the table and three points from safety, but have four games in hand on 21st-placed Millwall.
