Newcastle not good enough - Pardew

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says his side's performance was "not good enough" in their 4-0 defeat by Southampton.

Southampton dominated the match and scored through their England internationals Jay Rodriquez (2), Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.

Pardew, who was watching from the stands due to his touchline ban for headbutting Hull's David Meyler in February, believes there was an offside in the build up to the second goal, but admits he is "clutching at straws" and that his side "didn't deserve anything" from the game.
