West Brom 1-2 Stoke: Mark Hughes praises 'landmark' points tally

Stoke manager Mark Hughes says the club is "absolutely delighted" to reach 50 points this season, after a 2-0 win at West Brom on the final day of the season.

Charlie Adam's 87th-minute winner ensured Stoke reached the milestone in Hughes's first season at the club and their ninth-placed finish was also their highest in 39 years.

Hughes believes next season will be tougher but says there "won't be wholesale changes", adding "we'll look to add some quality if we can get the right people in, and the right characters, and at the right price obviously".
