River Plate regain Argentine title

Argentina's most successful club River Plate secured their 35th league title with a 5-0 win over Quilmes at the Estadio Monumental on Sunday.

The celebrations come just three years after the revitalised Buenos Aires-based club endured their first ever relegation from the top flight.

Ramon Díaz's men secured the Torneo Final trophy - the second league title of the season - with a five-point margin over joint second-placed sides Boca Juniors, Estudiantes and Godoy Cruz.
