Coventry City: Reda Johnson red card changed game - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley says that Sky Blues skipper Reda Johnson's red card was a game-turner in Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Scunthorpe.

Leading 1-0, summer signing Johnson's 24th-minute red card for an off-the-ball altercation gave the hosts what turned out to be a crucial man advantage.

"It was a game changer," Pressley told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire. "Reda Johnson did what I don't expect my captain to do and I've told him that.

"There appeared to be an exchange of words, but you can't put your head towards an opponent. He's a leader. He's responsible. Those type of things can't happen."
