Russell Slade: Leyton Orient boss on Cardiff City speculation

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade tells BBC London 94.9 that he is not sure if Cardiff City will make a fresh bid to appoint him as their new manager.

Orient president Francesco Becchetti has turned down two approaches from the Championship club for Slade, while also denying the 53-year-old permission to talk to the Welsh side.

Speaking after Tuesday's 1-0 defeat by Sheffield United in the League Cup, Slade says "everybody wants to better themselves" and that the vacant post at Cardiff is "a big job" but that he still loves Leyton Orient.
