Man Utd: Manager Louis van Gaal baffled by injury crisis
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says the club's injury crisis is very "difficult to understand".
United are without 10 players for their Premier League game against West Ham at Old Trafford on Saturday, including central defenders Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans and new signings Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera. Tyler Blackett is missing through suspension after his red card in the 5-3 defeat at Leicester City last weekend.
Dutchman Van Gaal said he was "evaluating" what United can do to prevent further injuries, but claimed the "younger players can have their chance now".
