Portadown beat Ballymena to lead table

Portadown return to the top of the Irish Premiership on goal difference thanks to a 2-1 home in over Ballymena United.

The visitors went into an early lead through Kyle McVey but then had defender Johnny Taylor sent-off after the break.

Portadown's Robert Garrett was also dismissed but the hosts secured victory through Peter McMahon and Gary Twigg.
