Dean Smith: Walsall boss on loss at Crawley Town

Walsall manager Dean Smith tells BBC WM that he was happy with the Saddlers' display in their 1-0 defeat at Crawley.

"You can't have 25 attempts and be worried," he said. "Another day you'll score five or six. But that's football for you. It can be a cruel game.

"It's difficult to take. We've been undone at the end by a free-kick that wasn't a free-kick. Adam Chambers won the ball. Then the ref puts the wall 11 yards back."
