West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Irvine stands by his decision to make 10 changes for Tuesday's 2-1 League Cup defeat at Bournemouth.
Only Craig Dawson stayed in the Baggies' team from Saturday's 2-2 Premier League home draw with Crystal Palace, but Irvine says he does not regret changing virtually his entire starting line-up.
"I've got to look after the players who have been playing in all their games," Irvine told BBC WM 95.6. "And I also have to give players who are desperate to play a platform to impress. Some of them did, but not enough of them."
