Rodgers laments lack of cutting edge

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is "bitterly disappointed" after the Reds lost 1-0 away to Newcastle, and blames his side's "lack of quality in the final third" for the defeat.

Ayoze Perez scored the winner for the second league game in a row to earn a fourth straight win for the Magpies.

Liverpool have now failed to score in their last two league games and are six points worse off than they were at this stage last season.
