Hereford United: Supporters' Trust saddened by club's closure

Vice-chairman of the Hereford United Supporters' Trust, Martin Watson, tells BBC Hereford and Worcester he is "hurt" and "angry" that the club has folded.

The Bulls, who were founded in 1925, were given a deadline of 19 December by the Royal Courts of Justice to prove they had £1m to pay creditors in order to settle a long-standing winding-up order.

Although a barrister for the club said the money was available, the club's chairman and majority shareholder Andy Lonsdale failed to provide documentary proof in time.

"Hereford United will continue because we the fans are Hereford United," Watson vowed.
