Crusaders beat Dungannon Swifts to maintain title push

Crusaders stay in touch in the Irish Premiership title race as Timmy Adamson's goal earns them a 1-0 win over strugglers Dungannon Swifts at Seaview.

The win moved Stephen Baxter's side to within a point of leaders Linfield, who face another side with title ambitions Portadown on Saturday.

Adamson headed in Craig McClean's cross on 35 minutes and the Crues missed several other chances to extend their advantage.

Dungannon remain second from bottom in the table - only three points above basement side Warrenpoint Town.
