Sunderland 1-3 Hull: Steve Bruce pleased by 'wonderful show'

Hull City manager Steve Bruce says his side recovered well from an early "howler" to put on a "wonderful show" in their 3-1 victory over Sunderland.

A mistake by City skipper Curtis Davies in the first minute allowed Adam Johnson to score for the hosts - but Hull fought back with goals from Gaston Ramirez, James Chester and substitute Nikica Jelavic to claim all three points.

Ramirez's goal was the first by Hull in the Premier League in 333 minutes of action, and ends a 10-game winless run for the club.
