Swifts boss Darren Murphy philosophical about postponement

Dungannon Swifts manager Darren Murphy refuses to point the finger of blame at referee Tim Marshall after his club's scheduled Premiership game against Glenavon at Mourneview Park on Tuesday night was called off just over an hour before kick-off because of a frozen pitch.

"The managers obviously want the game to go ahead but the referee has to take the players' safety into account and you can understand where he is coming from.

"Parts of the pitch are playable, but parts of it are hard. It's not easy to come to a ground at 6.30pm and call the game off - it was a brave decision on his part."
