Crues see off Mallards to go top

Crusaders move one point clear at the top of the Irish Premiership with a 3-0 victory over Ballinamallard United at Seaview after previous leaders Linfield were held to a 1-1 draw by Coleraine at Windsor Park.

Gavin Whyte scored the opener in the fourth minute as goalkeeper Stefan McCusker allowed the ball to squirm underneath his body and into the net.

Jordan Owens headed in the second from close range and Billy Joe Burns added the third two minutes into added time at the end of the game.
