No Evans regrets - Oldham director

Oldham Athletic director Barry Owen has "no regrets" over the aborted deal to sign convicted rapist Ched Evans.

He says the club broke no rule and no law in trying to sign the 26-year-old striker and says that Evans "fully accepted" the decision.

Oldham said there were threats to the club's "staff and their families" before they called off the move.
