Sir Jack Hayward: Tribute to Wolves' former owner

Following the death of former Wolves owner Sir Jack Hayward at the age of 91, BBC WM's Rob Gurney delves into the audio archives to recapture some cherished memories of one of Wolverhampton's favourite sons.

Sir Jack's thoughts, and those of others who knew him, including chief executive Jez Moxey and former players Geoff Thomas and Steve Froggatt, play out to the stirring musical backdrop of 'Nimrod' from the Enigma Variations, penned by another famous Wolves fan, Sir Edward Elgar.

Sir Jack, who owned Wolves for 17 years, will be best remembered for his many philanthropic gestures.

And put a microphone under his nose and there was many an enigmatic, and almost always memorable response.
