Sol Campbell: Will football adopt the Rooney Rule?

Former England defender Sol Campbell looks at the possibility of a rule seeking to increase the number of black and ethnic minority managers in professional football for BBC Inside Out.

Currently just five non-white managers are employed across the 92 clubs in England's top four divisions, with none in the Premier League.

Campbell speaks to current managers and football board members, plus Football Association board member Heather Rabbatts, to assess the appetite and enthusiasm for a 'Rooney Rule' style system being introduced across the Football League and Premier League.

The Rooney Rule, named after National Football League diversity committee chairman Dan Rooney, means NFL clubs must interview at least one BME candidate for each head coach or senior football operation vacancy.
