West Ham 3-0 Hull City: Formation changes were key - Sam Allardyce

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce says the half-time changes he made to his side's shape were key to his their 3-0 win against Hull City.

Andy Carroll scored the first for the Hammers after Allan McGregor pushed out Enner Valencia's shot. Morgan Amalfitano then doubled the lead, before Stewart Downing rolled in a third to consign relegation-threatened Hull to a third consecutive defeat.

West Ham's 36 points is their highest ever after 22 Premier League games, and they move to within four points of the Champions League places.
