Toure absence no excuse - Pellegrini

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini insists the absence of Yaya Toure was not the reason for their 2-0 home defeat to Arsenal.

The Gunners took the lead in the first-half, courtesy of a Santi Cazorla penalty after Vincent Kompany fouled Nacho Monreal. Arsenal added a second after the break when Cazorla's free-kick picked out Olivier Giroud and the France striker headed in from close range.

City have not won any of the four Premier League games Toure has missed this season
