Swansea 1-1 Sunderland: Defoe provides 'big difference' - Poyet

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet hails new signing Jermain Defoe as the striker scores in the 1-1 draw at Swansea, saying he makes a "big difference for the team."

Defoe's strike was cancelled out midway through the second half by ex-Sunderland midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung, but Poyet said he was "not too disappointed" with a draw.

The result means Sunderland remain in 14th place in the Premier League table, four points above the relegation zone.
