Cliftonville stunned by Ballymena late show

Two late goals by David Cushley give Ballymena United a dramatic 2-1 victory over Cliftonville in the Irish Cup sixth round at Solitude.

George McMullan gave the Reds the lead with a 47th-minute penalty after referee Colin Burns adjudged that Johnny Taylor had fouled Joe Gormley.

Cushley equalised with a deflected free-kick in the final minute of regulation time and the forward secured victory with a thumping left-foot effort from 30 yards into the top corner three minutes into added time.
