Richard Scudamore surprised at size of Premier League TV deal
Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore tells BBC sports editor Dan Roan he was "surprised" by the size of the new TV deal for live rights.
It was announced that Sky and BT Sport will pay a record £5.136bn for live Premier League TV rights for three seasons starting from 2016-17.
Scudamore feels the deal should make all teams more competitive and says that clubs must concentrate on the "number one" priority of making sure stadiums are full.
