Dean Smith: Walsall boss on victory against Rochdale

Walsall manager Dean Smith talks to BBC WM 95.6 following Tuesday night's 3-2 League One home victory against play-off rivals Rochdale.

Having gone 3-0 up in 22 minutes, the Saddlers were pegged back after the break, but hung on to complete a victory that put them just two points outside the play-off places.

Following Saturday's 2-0 win at Doncaster, Smith admitted: "It's nice to have taken six points from two tough games. It gives us a big boost to take into the Port Vale game, which will be another hard-fought battle. We're edging ever nearer to the 50-point mark. Once we get there, we'll see what happens next."
