Dean Smith: Walsall need lesson in dark arts
Walsall manager Dean Smith tells BBC WM that his side may need to "learn the dark arts" after seeing so many decisions go against them this season.
"I'm getting criticised for criticising refs," he said. "I don't come out with minutes like Jose Mourinho does. But you get asked about major incidents in games.
"Sometimes they involve referees and we feel a lot of decisions have gone against us.
"We haven't had a penalty at home for over a year. We give the least fouls away in the league and we've not had a red card all season.
"Maybe we're too a bit honest. As somebody said on Match Of The Day (West Ham boss Sam Allardyce), you maybe need to learn the dark arts in this game."
