Hull 1-1 Sunderland: Steve Bruce 'baffled' by Gus Poyet reaction

Hull boss Steve Bruce plays down his touchline row with Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, saying it is "part and parcel of the nonsense that surrounds us" but admits to being "baffled" by the Uruguayan's furious reaction.

The two managers had to be separated by officials after clashing over what Bruce described as a Jack Rodwell "dive", with Poyet sent to the stand for kicking water bottles following the incident.

Rodwell went on to equalise after Dame N'Doye's opener as Sunderland fought back to draw 1-1 to leave Bruce's side five points above the relegation zone.
